Will

Will works with KGA as a highly charismatic Leadership Speaker and Facilitator. He draws on his extensive leadership experience in the marine industry. Will was the youngest skipper in the BTI Gobal Challenge round the World Yacht race.

As well as delivering talks at all kinds of events, Will trains and facilitates groups who are learning about developing or leading teams more effectively.

Personal Style

Will enthuses delegates with his passion for the privilege of leadership and the power of teamwork. He is motivated by teams and believes in encouraging interdependence. Each year he tests his own leadership skills regularly through skippering different gruelling yacht races. He draws on the practical experiences he and his team have and links it effectively to the latest management theories.

Experience

Building on a Navy background, Will then spent 5 years in the marine industry where he held various positions including senior training skipper for Challenge Business, organisers of “The World’s Toughest Yacht Race”. Since then he employs his leadership skills participating in various yacht races and then shares his knowledge through training and speaking for a multitude of organisations.

His recent clients have included: Royal Bank of Scotland, Kingfisher and Bang & Olufsen.
