Karen is a Corporate Coach, Facilitator, Assessor and HR / OD Consultant. Her areas of focus and support are leadership, teams, organisational culture and business improvement through employee or organisational development.
Her specialist areas of work include:

  • Leadership coaching – most of Karen’s coaching work with leaders involves promoting self awareness, shifting mindsets and helping coachees acquire the right skills and demonstrate the right behaviours to meet their goals and be the best they can be. She draws on her knowledge of business, psychometric tools and her understanding of transactional analysis to help with this process.
  • Team and strategy development – Karen designs and delivers bespoke strategy and team development sessions for teams up to and including board level. These are either office based or off-site and take many different shapes and sizes involving different specialists as required.
  • Employee Engagement - Karen has created a highly effective employee engagement diagnostic tool called ENGAGE which is a holistic approach to this critical area of organisational performance. It is highly flexible and can be adapted to any size of team and organisation and for a variety of situations. It produces tangible insights with clear recommendations for improvement.
  • Employee development – designing and delivering a range of leadership and management development programmes to raise leadership and management capability.
  • Organisational development – assisting organisations through helping them review their structures, systems, strategies, ways of working and cultures through the lens of people management

Experience

Prior to consulting Karen gained 12 years experience working for UK and global organisations such as Diageo, British Aerospace and Coats Viyella performing a variety of HR and Management Development management roles. She has consulted now for 8 years working with executives, senior managers and middle managers across both the public and private sector.

Clients

She currently supports private sector clients around 75% of her time including American Express, Serco Plc and Sony Music and Public Sector Clients around 25% of her time including local councils and charities.
