Ian (MBA, B Eng)

Ian is a highly skilled facilitator and coach who enjoys working with individuals and teams to bring about increased individual, team and business performance. With a strong manufacturing and business improvement background, Ian is interested in working to achieve pragmatic and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

Ian has an MBA and a B Eng (Hons) in Production Engineering. In addition to this he is trained and qualified to use numerous psychometric tools including:

• MBTI Step 1 and 2
• Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) – Hay Group
• Inventory of Leadership Styles (ILS) – Hay Group

Experience

Ian has an interesting background. He has held senior roles in both HR / Organisational Development and Manufacturing Engineering although not simultaneously! Specifically he has worked for the Textron Inc group, and Boots and Glaxo. Within his current work he draws on his experience of facilitating senior teams and business divisions in business planning and change management; delivering European projects in supply chain management and enterprise systems implementation; leading on business improvement and lean manufacturing projects and championing six sigma projects and implementing effective team working and changes to management roles to increase motivation.
